Solar glass is a type of glass that is specially designed to harness solar energy and convert it into electricity. It is made by incorporating photovoltaic cells into the glass, allowing it to generate power from sunlight. This innovative technology has gained popularity in recent years as a sustainable and efficient way to produce clean energy.
For solar applications the main attributes of glass are transmission, mechanical strength and specific weight. Transmission factors measure the ratio of energy of the transmitted to the incoming light for a specific glass and glass width.
